Dr Jabin T. Jacob's new co-edited book on China's search for 'national rejuvenation'

The Department of International Relations and Governance Studies is pleased to announce the publication of Dr Jabin T Jacob's co-edited book, China’s Search for ‘National Rejuvenation’: Domestic and Foreign Policies under Xi Jinping. The book's other editor is Dr Hoang The Anh of the Vietnamese Institute of Chinese Studies, Hanoi. Published by Palgrave Macmillan, the book discusses a range of key domestic forces driving the current Chinese growth ranging from economic reforms to governance practices to analyze their impact and influence at home as well as on China’s foreign and security policies in its near and extended neighbourhood. It offers a better idea of China’s place in the world as the Chinese themselves see it and the implications over time for China, its neighbourhood, and the wider world.
